HMD Global Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas said, "We see this as a special opportunity for us to bring 5G phones at a cheaper price and enter the market."

Phone expected to come in half price
He said, 'I am calling it cheaper in terms of achievement than today, I would love to see Nokia's device at half the price of 5G currently.' On behalf of the news website Gizmochina, it was said that HMD Global can bring two of its Nokia 5G smartphones by the end of this year. One of them could be the smartphone flagship, which will have Snapdragon 855 SoC, X55 modem with paired 5G connectivity.

The other device may be of more mid-range, which will be powered with Snapdragon 700 series chipset. 5G services in India can start from next year. According to this, Nokia can take off its 5G phone in the Indian market by 2020.
