USNMix Report: Do you know
what happens in Gmail
'To', 'Cc' and 'Bcc' and its benefits?
'To', 'Cc' and 'Bcc' and its benefits?
There are three options -
'To', 'Cc' and 'Bcc' - to send mail to someone by Gmail. The three options are
given for different purposes, after knowing about which will be able to use all
the features better.
Everyone uses Gmail.
Nowadays all information is shared by mail, as it is also a safe medium. Its
utility is so much that all Smartphone have a special icon for Gmail. In this
article, you are going to tell the things related to Gmail, which you may not
know about before. Every day you use it, but in reality it is not aware of what
this feature means.
What does 'To' mean?
If someone want to email
anyone, then they put their mail id in 'To'. Explain about the content in the
subject and send it. Through mail you can send text files, photos and videos to
everything. When sending mail, you will see two options 'Cc' and 'Bcc' below
'To'. Generally the mail is mailed to 'Cc' and 'To' by entering a Gmail
address. But, all options have some meaning and some special features are also
there.
What does 'cc' mean?
In addition to 'To', 'Cc' is
kept in the person, which is important about your mail and its content.
Therefore, it is called carbon copy. Both 'To' and 'Cc' can see each other.
Both know that a partial mailer has been sent to whom.
What happens to 'Bcc'
'Bcc' is called blind carbon
copy. If anyone is in 'Bcc', then the information will not be known to the 'To'
and 'Cc' people. However, the 'Bcc' can see who has been kept in 'To' and 'Cc'.
In this way, it becomes part of the Secret Conversation. In such a situation,
if you are giving party to your friends and want it to be safe for everyone,
then put your second mail ID in 'To' and send mail to all 'Bcc'. Apart from
this, the second advantage is that, because of being in 'Bcc', the mail id of
important people cannot be copied. If you put important people in 'To' and
'Cc', then everyone can copy their mail id and this also increases the risk of
spamming.
