The US Department of Justice
is preparing to open a case against Google, which is related to monopoly
violations. The New York Times has given this information. It has happened at a
time when the debate is going on whether big technology companies should be
broken down and divided into small companies.
The New York Times report
states, "New Antitrust Tasks were announced in February this year, after
which the Trade Commission has taken an interest in investigating Google. In
the recent weeks, the Commission complains about the company in the Justice
Commission. This information has been received from two people of the
information department."
The Commission has asked the
companies registering complaints against Tech Veterans to file a complaint
before the Department of Justice. This is not new to Google. The company has
faced investigation in anti-trust cases in the past. In the year 2013 Google
said that it is going to change its business practices when it agreed to
compromise understanding of the US Federal Trade Commission.
