to Adopt in summer, you will protect from Loo.
Common symptoms include
fatigue, dizziness, headache, dark yellow urine, dry mouth and irritability.
Therefore it is important to keep drinking water in sufficient quantity to keep
yourself hydrated in this season.
Due to excessive sweating in
the summer, the need for water in adult body increases in this season by 500
milliliters. Keeping this in mind, drinking plenty of water will save you from
heat stroke (Loo). There are three most common problems due to long-standing
heat, including cramping, exhaustion and heat stroke. With excessive sweating,
there is a natural loss of fluids and electrolytes in the form of urine and
saliva, due to which there may be severe imbalance of dehydration and
electrolytes. Due to longer periods of sunlight, physical activity, fasting,
intense diet, some medicines and illness and infection, dehydration can occur
anywhere at any time. Common symptoms include fatigue, dizziness, headache,
dark yellow urine, dry mouth and irritability. Therefore it is important to
keep drinking water in sufficient quantity to keep yourself hydrated in this
season.
Padma Shri and President of Heart Care Foundation of India (HCFI) Dr. K.K. Agarwal says, "Because of
excessive sweating in the summer, water requirement in adults increases to 500
milliliters, it is also a season of typhoid, jaundice and diarrhea, for some
reasons, not drinking enough water and poor food, Drinking water and
cleanliness of hands are not included. " He said that gourds, tomato,
tinda, pumpkin etc. are summer vegetables, which grow on the bails. They all
have high water content. They follow certain rules of nature. Nature always
produces vegetables and fruits known to prevent diseases of that season. For
example, coconuts grow in coastal areas, because they provide immunity from
hypertensive disorders. Commonly cooked in the summer, because mango content
can prevent heat disorders.
Dr. Agrawal said that
absence of sweat, dry armpits or armpits, do not get urine for 8 hours or high
fever in summer - they are all signs of danger and demand immediate medical
attention. Sprains in the hands, feet, or stomach muscles are called heat caps,
which result in large amounts of salt and water loss due to excessive exercise.
It is treated with fluid and salt intake. He further said, "Your environment
decides how much water you should drink. People with warm climates should drink
more water to compensate for the lost fluid through perspiration. People living
at higher altitudes may also need to drink more water, because the lack of
oxygen in the air indicates more loss of moisture during breathing and
respiration faster. So the rule is that you should drink more water in the
summer months, because spending more heat and excess time can lead to more
damage to the liquid. "
