Bharti Airtel (Airtel) has launched a plan of Rs 249 for its prepaid customers while watching tremendous competition in the telecom sector. It is also being provided free life insurance. For this, the company has tied up with HDFC Life Insurance.

In the plan of 249 rupees, the term insurance of Rs 4 lakh is being given to the users for free. If you buy this plan for the first time then the facility of insurance will be enclosed by SMS. Apart from this, also going to Airtel App & Retailer can avail the facility. On second charge recharging, the insurance automatically updates itself. The second time it does not need to be encrypted. The advantage of free insurance can be taken from 18 to 54 year old users.

Meanwhile, the news is that the company is gradually removing post-paid plans less than Rs 499. Other plan packs have higher prices and digital product for consumers wanting to spend more. Initially, the company has finished the plan of Rs 299. Slowly, the company will remove post paid plans of Rs 349 and Rs 399. Even the number of plans above Rs 499 will be reduced to 3 Nos., Rs 749, Rs 999 and Rs 1,599.
