Toyota, Japan's automaker, has warned that in the event of a brexit deal, it would stop production in the UK by 2023. Toyota Europe's Chief Executive Officer Johan Van Zyl, at the Geneva Motor Show, said, "If business is difficult, then the shutdown may be considered." They also mentioned options to reduce production and investment.

also supported the statement made by Van Zyl. The spokesman said, "On the
