Private sector aviation
company Vistara will make available their sanitary pad for free while requesting
female passengers in their domestic flight services. The company is going to
launch it on March 8 from International Women's Day. Vistara is a joint venture
of Tata Group and Singapore Airlines. The extension of this facility is the
first airline in the country. In a statement Wednesday, Vistara said that the
aircraft will be provided with 'ISO 9001: 2015' quality standard,
environmentally friendly and organic sanitary pad. These sanitary pads will be
free from plastic, toxic substances and perfume. The company said that this
Friday will be announced in this regard to make people aware about this in the
aircraft from this Friday.
On the occasion of Women's
Day last year, Indian Railways took similar initiative. Railways have started
sanitary pad for the help of women in five rupees. For this, such machines were
installed at New Delhi Railway Station, Nizamuddin Railway Station and in Rail
Bhawan. A machine platform number one is also installed in the women's waiting
room and the second machine is placed on platform number 16.
Recently, Vistara Airlines
has announced to launch a direct airline for Dibrugarh from Delhi and Bagdogra.
The operational operation of this aircraft will start from April 3. According
to the airline, passengers will have to pay Rs. 2399 for a direct trip to
Dibrugarh from Bagdogra. At the same time, the airline has fixed the rent of Rs
4,999 for travel from Delhi to Dibrugarh.
Airlines has begun booking
tickets for flights from Dagruhgarh to Bagdogra and Delhi. It is worth
mentioning that Dibrugarh will be the 24th destination of Vistara Airlines.
Recently the airline started its flight to Guwahati. According to the airline,
Dibrugarh, famously known as T City of India, has been the main center of
industrial but healthcare and communication.
