The Prime Minister Shram
Yogi Mann-Dhan (PM-SYM) announced for the unorganized sector employees in the
interim budget has started and 3.13 lakh public service centers (CSCs) across
the country can be linked to this scheme. After the age of 60 years the workers
who make the scheme will be given monthly pension of Rs. 3,000. Special bodies
working under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, CSC
e-Governance Services India Ltd.
Has started the registration
process under the PM-SYM scheme. Under this, eligible workers of the age group
of 18 to 40 years of the unorganized sector will be eligible to adopt. An
official said that after joining the scheme, the workers will get monthly
pension of Rs 3,000 after the age of 60 on their contributions.
Finance Minister Piyush
Goyal announced this ambitious social security scheme in the interim budget
2019-20. It is being implemented by the Labor Ministry. The benefits of the
scheme will be available to the unorganized sector workers of monthly income up
to Rs 15,000. Under the scheme, the target of connecting 10 million workers in
the unorganized sector has been targeted in five years.
Government has added CSC
e-Governance Services India Limited to connect beneficiaries across the country
and their registration. Have taken the services of The official said that under
the SPV network 3.13 lakh CSCs come across the country. Of these, 2.13 lakhs
CSCs are at the level of Gram Panchayat. Nomination will be done by all CSCs
under the scheme. The workers of the unorganized sector can register with their
nearest CSC. For this, you have to take the Aadhaar card and passbook of
Savings Bank Account or Jandhan passpook. The first month's contribution will be in
cash.
CSC e-Governance Services
India has prepared an application form for PM-SYM and will also operate it so
that the entire registration process and data collection can be done in a
convenient manner. Apart from this, he will also issue a unique ID number to the
registered under the scheme. CSC e is a special partner of the Ministry of
Labor for the implementation of the Governance Services India Scheme.
The CSC also works as a
representative of banks in remote and rural areas. This center will also help
those interested in registration under PM-SYM to open a bank account in CSC and
people will not need to go to the bank branch for this.
The official said that in
the later stage, the ministry can also enroll through PM-SYM web portal or
mobile app. In such a situation, people will be able to self-verify through
Aadhaar Number-Savings Bank Account or a Savings Bank Account. In this scheme,
workers joining the age of 18 will have to pay a monthly subscription of Rs 55.
Those who join the scheme at the age of 29, those who are 100 and 40 years old
will have to contribute a monthly contribution of Rs 200.
